THE INFERNAL DEVICES WILL NEVER STOP COMING

A net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute. Mortmain plans to use his Infernal Devices, an army of pitiless automatons, to destroy the Shadowhunters. He needs only one last item to complete his plan: he needs Tessa Gray.

Charlotte Branwell, head of the London Institute, is desperate to find Mortmain before he strikes. But when Mortmain abducts Tessa, the boys who lay equal claim to her heart, Jem and Will, will do anything to save her. For though Tessa and Jem are now engaged, Will is as much in love with her as ever.

As those who love Tessa rally to rescue her from Mortmain’s clutches, Tessa realizes that the only person who can save her is herself. But can a single girl, even one who can command the power of angels, face down an entire army?

Danger and betrayal, secrets and enchantment, and the tangled threads of love and loss intertwine as the Shadowhunters are pushed to the very brink of destruction in the breathtaking conclusion to the Infernal Devices trilogy.

 My Thoughts:

Best ever ending of any series I have ever read. Simply loved it. The book is all a book lover would want in a book. It can make you laugh, cry, angry and happy. I highly recommend it . Though I was waiting for this epic battle with Mortmain with all Shadow Hunters against him and then it didn't happen, also his death was very casually written which was the only thing I didn't liked about this book. Except from that I really loved it. Definitely a must read.

 My rating:

I give this book 5 stars out of 5.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

Book Title: The Perks Of Being A Wallflower
Author: Stephen Chbosky
Genres: YA,Fiction, contemporary
Language: English
Published on: 1st Feb 1999

Goodreads

Description:

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a story about what it’s like to travel that strange course through the uncharted territory of high school. The world of first dates, family dramas, and new friends. Of sex, drugs, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Of those wild and poignant roller-coaster days known as growing up.

 My Thoughts:

I don't know why I took so long to read this book. I really loved it. The writing style of Author was great. After reading so many YA books about teenagers acting like they are "not-teenagers" and fighting for the world against unknown dangers. I use to feel that these characters are not at all behaving like teenagers. But Charlie is exactly what teenagers are like. Well almost.

Teenage that too between 16-18 years is the age where they are not Children and not Adult . The struggle between thinking like adult but can't act like one is all this book is about. The author had described all the thoughts and struggles faced by a teenager even if he/she is happy on outside.

Its one time read but a must read.

Description:

Sang Sorenson dreams of what life might be like for her in the Academy, but joining isn't as easy as simply writing an exam or passing an interview. She'll need to pull the team together to get them on her side in order for it to work, which is harder than it sounds. The boys will do anything to protect her, which, for some, means keeping her out.

But that’s not all that’s going on in Sang’s complicated life. After a shocking revelation, Gabriel Coleman splinters himself off from everyone, avoiding not just his Academy team, but even going so far as to avoid Sang. Desperate to bring him back and get him on her side, Sang digs deep into his past to try to discover a way to reach out to him.

His truth is riddled with tragic events, but with the help of Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Luke and North, she might be able to reach out to him before envy and despair drag him too far down to be saved.

The Academy, Deeply Bonded.

My Thoughts:

Such a sweet book. OMG all the feels I am getting after reading it. Read it till 6 in the morning, can't put this book down man!!
Honestly when I stared reading this book I got really annoyed by Sang thought to stop reading this series any further. But then after few chapters it become interesting again and I was unable to put this book down.
I was never a fan of Kota but damn he got some leadership qualities and proved me why he was their leader. Also I fell in love with Victor and North once again, they are so awesome. They understand Sang better than others and also helps her everytime. This book is about Gabriel and we really got to see the real Gabe behind all those funny talks and cursing. He has his own demons to fight, all those insecurities and jealousy. I guess only this book has covered real feelings of Gabriel and story revolved around him and Sang. Unlike other books where only glimpse of the boys personal life was written(apart from their family and past).
Best parts of the book was chapters where CL told us about Boys bonding with each, how good they understand and support their family. If you reading this book and stuck with the starting then don't stop the ending gets better. Also C L Stone once again left us confused like Gabriel about Sang's past. I like the way she keeps readers interested in her next books by some twists.

My rating:

I give this book 4 stars out of 5.

Description:

But when her life becomes entwined with the handsome Prince Kai's, she finds herself at the centre of a violent struggle between the desires of an evil queen - and a dangerous temptation.

My Thoughts:

I am absolutely in love this book. Its so wonderful world where past blends with future technology so well that we can enjoy best of both worlds. I had so much expectations from this book and it has reached those.

The retelling of our childhood fairy-tale Cinderella in young adult genre set in post World War-4 world is the best way to enjoy it. Cinder is a mechanic who has a small shop in New Beijing. She lives with her step-mother and two step-sister. That's not everything thing about her. She is also a cyborg means she has some metal body parts, in other words half-robot, half-human. But there is a secret about her birth which she doesn't know. If that's not the matter to worry in enough, now her step-sister is ill by deadly plague and her step-mother is blaming her for that. Between all these problems she is also attracted to prince charming Kaiko who doesn't know she is a cyborg. She has a lot on her plate and time is running fast.

Ahhh the *feels* after reading this book. I can't get enough of this world. Her sassy behavior and the prince Kai(faints, wakes up after sometime) he so awesome and really charming. I guess I found out my new favorite OTP. Now excuse me I have to read Scarlet ASAP.

 My rating:

I give this book 5 stars out of 5.
