But that’s not all that’s going on in Sang’s complicated life. After a shocking revelation, Gabriel Coleman splinters himself off from everyone, avoiding not just his Academy team, but even going so far as to avoid Sang. Desperate to bring him back and get him on her side, Sang digs deep into his past to try to discover a way to reach out to him.
His truth is riddled with tragic events, but with the help of Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Luke and North, she might be able to reach out to him before envy and despair drag him too far down to be saved.
The Academy, Deeply Bonded.
Honestly when I stared reading this book I got really annoyed by Sang thought to stop reading this series any further. But then after few chapters it become interesting again and I was unable to put this book down.
I was never a fan of Kota but damn he got some leadership qualities and proved me why he was their leader. Also I fell in love with Victor and North once again, they are so awesome. They understand Sang better than others and also helps her everytime. This book is about Gabriel and we really got to see the real Gabe behind all those funny talks and cursing. He has his own demons to fight, all those insecurities and jealousy. I guess only this book has covered real feelings of Gabriel and story revolved around him and Sang. Unlike other books where only glimpse of the boys personal life was written(apart from their family and past).
Best parts of the book was chapters where CL told us about Boys bonding with each, how good they understand and support their family. If you reading this book and stuck with the starting then don't stop the ending gets better. Also C L Stone once again left us confused like Gabriel about Sang's past. I like the way she keeps readers interested in her next books by some twists.

Description:
Sang Sorenson dreams of what life might be like for her in the Academy, but joining isn't as easy as simply writing an exam or passing an interview. She'll need to pull the team together to get them on her side in order for it to work, which is harder than it sounds. The boys will do anything to protect her, which, for some, means keeping her out.But that’s not all that’s going on in Sang’s complicated life.
